Health & Wellness Product Photography SYDNEY
I work with health and wellness brands to create photography that speaks directly to their audience and reflects what they stand for.
For wellness brands, the imagery needs to work harder than just looking good. Showing key ingredients, what the product actually looks like, or how it fits into someone’s daily routine – that’s what connects with a health-conscious customer and builds the trust that drives sales.
Whether you’re an established supplement brand or an emerging wellness startup, every image is considered – lighting, colour, styling, and composition – so your products show up exactly how they should.
From hero campaign images to a full product suite for e-commerce or high-impact social content, I shoot across every format your brand needs.
If you’re looking for health and wellness photography that feels authentic, credible, and on-brand, I’d love to chat.

PRODUCT PHOTOGRAPHY PROCESS
DISCOVERY & ONBOARDING
In this phase, we will chat about your brand, your goals, and what you need from this shoot. I’ll ask about your target audience, brand positioning, and the types of images you’re after. Once we’ve aligned on scope, I’ll send through the Commercial Photography Agreement and invoice for your 50% deposit to secure your booking.
CREATIVE PLANNING & PREP
With the brief confirmed, I will put together a shoot plan and mood boards to map out the creative direction. I’ll also determine what props and backdrops are needed – sometimes a shoot requires very little, other times it takes hours to track down the perfect prop. If extensive prop sourcing is required, a sourcing fee may apply.
SHOOT DAY
Shoot time depends on the number of images, the complexity of each shot, and how many different set-ups are involved – flatlay, lifestyle, e-commerce, and so on. I group similar shot types together to keep the day running smoothly and efficiently.
POST-PRODUCTION
Once the shoot wraps, I cull and edit your images, then upload them to an online gallery. Turnaround varies depending on complexity – reflective products, e-commerce pack shots, and detailed retouching all require more careful attention. Final files are delivered in the formats you need, ready to use wherever you need them.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONs
Outlined below are answers to some of my frequently asked questions. If you have any further questions, feel free to contact me.
Where are you located?
My studio is located on Sydney’s Northern Beaches. I work with skincare, wellness, fragrance and lifestyle brands across Sydney and Australia-wide – products can be shipped to the studio from anywhere.
Do you work with brands outside of Sydney?
Absolutely! My interstate clients ship their products to my studio on Sydney’s Northern Beaches. I handle everything from there and deliver your final images digitally, so location is no barrier.
What types of products do you specialise in?
I specialise in photography for skincare, wellness, fragrance and lifestyle brands. If you’re unsure whether your products are a good fit, feel free to get in touch.
Do I need to be present on shoot day?
It’s entirely up to you. Many of my clients send their products and trust me to bring the brief to life. That said, having you and your team on shoot day can be a lot of fun and allows us to make creative decisions together in real time. Whether you join in person, check in remotely, or leave it entirely in my hands, we’ll make it work.
How do I get my products to you?
You can send your products via Australia Post or courier, or deliver them directly.
I’ll return all products after the shoot unless otherwise specified. Please include a postage-paid envelope or organise a courier to collect your products at the end of the shoot if that’s your preferred method.
What should I prepare before the shoot?
The more information you can share upfront, the better. A clear brief that covers your brand aesthetic, target audience, intended use, and any reference images you love is a great starting point. However, don’t worry if you’re not sure where to begin – I’ll guide you through it as part of the discovery phase.
Does the price include styling?
Yes, in most cases I take care of the styling and photography. If you are looking to employ a stylist, or use one of your own, let me know when requesting a quote.
Do you charge for props & backdrops?
I have access to a wonderful range of props and backdrops.
If you require any perishable items for the shoot, I’ll ask you to cover the cost. If extensive prop sourcing is required, I may charge a prop sourcing fee. Custom backdrops will be an additional cost. If you have specific props you’d like me to use, you’re welcome to send them over or bring them along to the shoot.
How many images will I receive?
This depends on the scope of your shoot. I’ll confirm the number of final edited images as part of your quote, so there are no surprises. If you need additional images beyond what’s agreed, we can discuss this before or during the shoot.
Do the images include retouching?
Yes – all final images are edited and retouched before delivery. However, the level of retouching varies depending on the product type and packaging. Reflective surfaces, glass and highly polished packaging typically require more post-production time, which I factor into your quote.
Can I request revisions?
I offer one round of revisions for any images that don’t meet the agreed-upon brief or shoot plan. If you request further changes beyond that, additional fees apply at an hourly rate. I find that a thorough brief and planning phase minimises the need for revisions, which is why I invest time upfront getting the details right.
What is your turnaround time?
I typically require 5–10 business days to plan, shoot and turn around images. Faster turnarounds may be possible – please get in touch with me to discuss. An additional fee may apply.
How do I pay for photography?
You can pay via credit card or bank transfer. I require a 50% deposit upfront to secure your booking, and I request final payment before delivering your images.
Who owns the copyright of the content created?
Saltwater Creative Studio owns the copyright for all images. As part of your package, you receive a licence to use them across standard marketing channels, including your website, social media, email marketing and online advertising. If you need extended usage or wish to licence images to a third party, just get in touch, and we can discuss additional licensing terms
Can I get the photos in landscape & portrait orientation?
Yes, though an extra cost may be incurred to capture both orientations, as the composition often needs to change to suit each. If you need landscape and square, or portrait and square, this is usually fine, as the composition typically doesn’t need to change.
Working with Blazenka from Saltwater Creative Studio for our recent two-day photoshoot was a smooth and enjoyable experience. Her organisation and professionalism made the process feel effortless, while her calm and approachable nature made collaboration easy. Blazenka’s talent is evident in the high-quality images she delivered, and we couldn’t be more pleased with the results.
We can’t recommend Saltwater Creative Studio enough – as a Marketing Agency, we have worked with countless photographers, and none have been as easy and delightful to work with as Blazenka. Her strong Marketing background made the pre-shoot details a breeze to co-ordinate, and I really felt that we were in safe hands to achieve what our client needed. It was the most enjoyable product shoot I’ve ever managed, from start to finish!
